New Media Evaluation

New Media Evaluation

A. What I liked about this class was that we had our own blogs and we can speak our minds. Another thing I liked was that we had our 100 plus goals notebook because it kept me determined. There isn't much that i disliked about this course because it wasn't much of a hard course it was more like do what you have to do and pass the class.

B. An improvement I can think of for this class would be less typing tutor and more setting goals because if you think about it, we should all be able to type at a good pace it is a must to know how. I think more time to read our goals and set them because it helped me keep on track and i'm sure if I had more time I would be doing better things than just one goal or two goals a week.

C. I truly gave this class my all potential.

D. Yes, I am reading my goals everyday for at least two minutes. In the morning I read them and then before I go to bed.

E. Yes I am committed to being a  CTR person because its helped me keep on track and i accomplish my goals faster.

F. I will not smoke, drink, lie or break any law to keep a healthy body mind and spirit i will also choose the right.

I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was assigned a group for my interdisciplinary project and it was  For GMO'S. In that group was Cristal, Gabriela, Andres, and Me. We assigned each a role I was assigned two specific roles. My first role was to explain how local individuals would be affected. My second role was the call to action which was what we should do or start doing in order to make change. We had almost a month and a half until presentation day so as a group we got together and started researching and decided to right or present how our foods should started being labeled if it contained any GMO of some sort. finally presentation day comes. On the day of the presentation i felt really nervous in fact, out of my mind nervous. I was the first out of my group to show up to school and then Cristal. Cristal and I waited for Gabriela and Andres but they were not showing up. It was 6:20 and our presentation was at 6:30 so Cristal and I started to worry so we decided to start practicing their roles in case they were a no show. As soon as we finished practicing we see that they were down the hall finally, and it had ended up that we were supposed to show up in a different room, so the whole time we were worried for nothing. We finally got called in and I felt shaky like jello, but as soon as I saw Mr. Haymore in there as one of the judges Some of my nervousness went away. I did stutter a few time in my presentation but I was glad that in the end the judges liked our presentation. That same day after the presentation I realized that it wasn't such a huge deal it was easy and I wish I could have done it again so that I could have done it better and filled it up with a bit more information on the topic.

"When I do good, I feel good.
When I do bad I feel bad."

        Abraham Lincoln

I can strongly agree with Abraham Lincoln because I feel the same way. For example, When i did good and scored an A plus on my Spanish final I felt good. another example, I did not get to finish my English final exam so I know I did bad thus, I felt bad.

"Take responsibility for your own body, spirit, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and well-being."

Mr. Haymore

Honestly I am not sure what this means. I do know that we each have to take responsibility for our own actions for example, if you drink you will hurt your body in the long run. If you lie that will only hurt yourself and lead to another lie, another example would be praying. If you pray or believe your doing the right thing than go ahead and do it if you do not feel like it is right do not do it. Always choose the right.

What should we start?
and
What should we stop?

"We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do."

I think that is a brilliant idea. We the people need to start standing up for yourself and others and stop people doing wrong. for example we have to stop the non labeling process of  our foods and reintroduce the bill that will bring us the opportunity to know what GMO is in our foods. We need to continue what we should do for example picking up after ourselves. we need to do what has to be done.

The sting of the scorpion

The sting of the scorpion

Patrick was only a little innocent boy who didn't know any better. He was only seven when he was stung but he learned a very valuable lesson. that lesson was to always choose the right, listen to his parents. I think he is smart for learning because he probably would have done something worse if he didn't.

Always listen and choose the right.

"ALWAYS DO RIGHT"

Image result for MARK TWAIN
MARK TWAIN

I can agree with Mark twain because I you should never do things that are wrong even if everyone else is doing it. For example marijuana a lot of people do  it but it doesn't make it right for yourself to do it as well. Another example I can think of is alcohol. It is legal to buy but it is wrong to drink because it leads to violent mishaps and other things that shouldn't be occurring. So, remember if it is wrong don't do it.

Paul hatch

When you tell one lie it leads to another

Paul hatch

when you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, oh brother,
you're in trouble up to your ears
so you tell four lies to try to protect you
then you tell five lies so folks wont suspect you

then you tell six lies and you'll collect
a life filled with worries and fears
cause you cant remember how many lies
you've told

and half the things you say aren't true
and sometime you'll slip up, you'll trip up
and then
whatever will become of you?
so you lie and lie without even trying
and each lie you tell will keep
multiplying
till the whole wide world will know you're lying
then you'll be
suspected
detected
rejected
 neglected
disliked
and you should
When you lie you're closing the door
on everything good

"When you tell a lie, it leads to another"

Paul Hatch

Paul hatch is right, one lie does lead to another. I know it its true because I've experienced it before and it was not a good experience. So do not lie because it is wrong and it will only make things worse whether it is instantly or later in the long run.

What is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity?

"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. but we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."

John F. Kennedy

I think we can all agree on this. this is pretty much agreeable to because I've also heard that when you stay fit you think better. You're not as slow and you're as weak. When you think better you understand the process better. When you understand the process better you learn better. You'll know better and you'll do better.
